Dr. Dekelbab is board certified in Pediatrics. He graduated from Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria. He completed his Pediatric residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and his Endocrinology fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received the Resident of the Year Award 1995 by Ross and Instructor of the Year Award 2000 by St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society, the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He has been involved in many research projects and has several publications.
Dr. Dekelbab was recognized as a Top Doc in endocrinology in Hour Detroit magazine in 2008.
