Dr. Benita Phillips, DO

As the owner and operator of Alive and Well Health in Goodlettsville, TN, Benita Phillips, D.O. specializes in integrative medicine and wellness for the Nashville and surrounding areas of Tennessee, including bordering states of Tennessee. Dr. Phillips offers treatment for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), including thyroid and adrenal disorders, and she helps her patients find relief from symptoms of menopause and andropause, including fatigue, night sweats, weight gain and depression. Dr. Phillips believes that by giving the body the tools and optimal conditions it needs, it can heal itself. By integrating stress reduction with a fitness regimen, proper nutrition and supplementation, in combination with bioidentical hormones therapy, she helps men and women experience a better quality of life. Dr. Phillips earned her doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa where she was the Chief Resident in 2002 and 2003. She became Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 2003.
