Dr. Beverly Watts Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in relationship dysfunction, ADHD, behavioral issues, poor coping skills, divorce, family conflict, grief, life transitions, parenting, school-related issues, low self-esteem, chronic stress, and more. Beverly earned her Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Georgia, her Master’s in counseling from Columbus State University, and her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University-Sarasota. Beverly is a person-centered counselor and lets the needs of her clients direct therapy. She uses solution-focused (SFT), goal-oriented, and short-term therapy approaches, as well as cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT) and play therapy for child clients.
