Brett Handsman, DMD
 “Dr. Brett” prides himself on providing top-quality orthodontic care for his patients in a relaxed and professional atmosphere. He enjoys developing friendly relationships with his patients while consistently providing the highest level of care.  Dr. Brett has been with Springfield Orthodontics since the spring of 2007.  He received his bachelors degree in Mathematics from Binghamton University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and then completed a three-year postdoctoral residency at Stony Brook University receiving his orthodontic specialty certificate. He is on staff as an attending orthodontist within the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Department of Dentistry.Â
Dr. Brett is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental …Association, and he serves on the membership committee of the New Jersey Dental Association representing Union County Dental Society. Dr. Brett grew up in central New Jersey and now resides locally with his lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. He is an avid sports fan (go Giants!), enjoys outdoor activities, and loves spending his free time with his family and friends.
