Dr. Brett Siegrist moved to Arizona from New Orleans, Louisiana in 2006. He attended Princeton University for his undergraduate education and then went on to Georgetown Medical School to receive his Doctor of Medicine. His training in both general surgery and vascular surgery were obtained at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Siegrist%u2019s training includes both traditional open vascular surgery, as well as less invasive endovascular techniques. He holds certification from the American Board of Surgery in both General and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Siegrist served for three years in the United States Navy as a general surgeon. He completed a deployment on the USS Nassau in the Persian Gulf during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then spent one year stationed at the Naval Hospital in Keflavik, Iceland. Dr. Siegrist is a staff/attending surgeon at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital, Banner Desert, Banner Estrella Medical Center, St. Joseph%u2019s Hospital and the Carl T. Hayden VA …Medical Center. He is an active participant in the training of residents and medical students at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency.
