My father was in the ICU last winter. It was the most helpless I have ever felt. Dr. Angsten was in charge of his care. I will never forget how he would pull up a chair for a few minutes every day just to talk to my mom and me. He would explain what was happening in simple terms. He never made us feel like we were wasting his time even though the unit was incredibly busy. That small act of communication made a world of difference during a terrible time. My dad is home now. We are forever grateful for Dr. Angsten’s skill and his compassion.
