My goal is to build a trusting and caring relationship with each of my patients. I find that oncology patients need this relationship to help them cope with the many issues that can arise during the course of cancer treatment. My patients describe me as a warm-hearted person, who genuinely cares about their health and is compassionate about their needs. What I enjoy most is building long-term relationships with my patients and helping them get the most out of their treatment. I also like applying scientific information in a personal setting. As a practicing hematologist and oncologist with more than 10 years of experience, I understand the anxiety and stress patients experience after being diagnosed with cancer. My mission is to minimize this stress and help provide both the emotional and professional support that everybody needs when given a cancer diagnosis.
