Dr. Cassie Joslin

Cassie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has eight years of experience in both medical emergency room care and acute psychiatric care. For her, psychiatry was an obvious choice, allowing her to work with families across the lifespan and work closely and collaboratively with people. Cassie utilizes evidence-based treatments such as ketamine-assisted therapy, crisis/emergency management, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She manages and treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, and women’s health issues. Her goal is to alleviate bothersome symptoms and maintain emotional stability and health while monitoring such treatments’ effects. Cassie is passionate about the mind-body connection and its impact on one’s mental health. At Thriveworks, her role includes medication management, education, therapy, and patient advocacy. Cassie obtained her …bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse and her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Indiana University. Working in both rural and inner cities has given her insight into different treatment modalities. Cassie is passionate about providing access to care across the lifespan.
