Chie Boyer MA, CCC-SLP, an American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Japanese-American speech therapist, has a diverse background in serving at public schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. She graduated from The Wichita State University in Kansas and has held licenses and a certificate in Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Nebraska, and Washington. Currently residing in Oklahoma, Chie’s experience encompasses typical speaking and language issues among both school-age children and adults.Throughout her career, Chie has addressed a variety of speech-related challenges, including speech impediments, learning difficulties, traumatic brain injuries, swallowing issues, and language problems resulting from brain damage. While her experience is more limited in areas such as voice care after surgery or gender reassignment, voice resonance issues, and childhood feeding issues, she is eager to assist clients in these areas as well.Chie has a special affinity for individuals with …accents, having experienced this herself.
