Dr. Christa DeFries is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist. She attended medical school in Dallas, TX at UT Southwestern Medical School, and completed Residency in Adult Psychiatry at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX. This experience gave her more exposure to treating people with a history of trauma and substance addictions. She practices Adult Psychiatry and enjoys treating a variety of conditions. Dr. DeFries uses medication, psychotherapy methods, and lifestyle modifications together and recognizes that everyone benefits from a different mix of these three aspects of treatment.
