Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Ketterer moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia during his senior year of high school. He first became interested in becoming an Infectious Disease physician while studying Medical Microbiology at Georgia Tech. Dr. Ketterer graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and went on to complete his residency and fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
After completion of his medical training, Dr. Ketterer returned to his hometown of Atlanta in 2014 to be closer to friends and family and provide outstanding care with a personal approach. Dr. Ketterer is passionate about serving Atlanta’s LGBT/Kink/Alt community, a group that is both disproportionately affected with infectious diseases, and often feels ostracized from the medical community at large. Improving health care outcomes while reducing patient costs
Antibiotic Stewardship
Promotion of evidence based medicine.
