Dr. Danny Jazarevic, MD, PhD, FACS

Danny Jazarevic, MD, PhD, FACS, also called Dr. J, is a double board certified vascular, trauma and general surgeon. His expertise encompasses a wide array of conditions, including complex vascular surgery, abdominal surgery related to cancers of the pancreas, esophagus, and intestinal tract, emergency trauma surgery, and critical care of surgical patients.
Dr. Jazarevic is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, a highlydecorated war veteran, and a respected leader with voluminous wartime and battlefield experience, having served in numerous clinical and leadership positions and capacities during a military career spanning over 27 years. Throughout his career, Dr. J has served as Director of Vascular Surgery and Chairman of Departments of Surgery in military and civilian institutions. Dr. J is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the Board of Surgical Critical Care. Dr. J is fluent in 8 languages — English, Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian, Dutch, German, Flemish and Latin.
