Dr. Darrell S. Hanson, MD

Dr. Darrell Hanson specializes in the management of spinal deformities in adults, adolescents, and children including scoliosis, kyphosis, fixed sagittal imbalance, and spondylolisthesis. In addition to the management of spinal deformity, he also treats patients with a variety of other spine diagnoses including disc herniations, stenosis, and spinal fractures.
Dr. Hanson is certified by the American Board of Surgery and completed both his medical degree as well as his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine. He went on to complete fellowship training in Spinal Deformity at the Washington University School of Medicine.
He works with each of his patients to identify the best management plan for the patient’s specific spine issues, incorporating non-operative modalities such as physical therapy and bracing where appropriate.
