Dr. David C. De Witt, MD

David DeWitt, MD is a board-certified fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in degenerative and traumatic disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
He performs a broad range of surgical procedures, including:
microdiscectomy for lumbar disc herniation
cervical and lumbar decompression and fusion for instability and/or disc degeneration minimally invasive kyphoplasty
vertebroplasty for painful compression fractures
anterior lumbar surgery for the treatment of isthmic and degenerative spondylolisthesis treatment for lumbar degenerative disc disease
motion preservation surgery with artificial disc for the cervical and lumbar spine.
Dr. DeWitt graduated magna cum laude from Denison University with a B.S. in Biology, then attended the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, where he was named the Chief Resident. His education culminated …in a fellowship in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at the NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, located in Appleton, WI.
He is member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society and the Milwaukee Orthopedic Society.
