Dr. David C. Johnson is a native of Arizona practicing here since 1987. He specializes and is board certified in general and bariatric surgery. He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons and is a Fellow Member.
Dr. Johnson was previously the Chief of Staff at Mountain Vista Medical Center and is now the Director of Trauma, at their level 3 trauma center.
Dr. Johnson has worked at Scottsdale Healthcare Level 1 Trauma Hospital and is also a certified instructor of advanced trauma life support. He is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
Shelly Fitzpatrick, MSN, FNP works with Dr. Johnson. She has been an RN since 1989. She graduated at University of Phoenix as a Nurse Practitioner in 2005. She is certified as a First Assistant in surgery. She is also a Certified Bariatric Nurse. She is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Academy of Nurse …Practitioners.
