David O. Volpi, M.D is a Board-Certified Otolaryngology Surgeon and staff member at New York’s finest teaching hospitals. He has operated a private Ear, Nose and Throat practice for more than twenty years, and has four locations throughout New York City. In addition, Dr. Volpi is the founder and CEO of eos sleep, a national network of physicians dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. As one of the leading specialists on snoring in the US, he is the co-author of the definitive snoring guide, Wake Up! You’re Snoring, an authoritative information source for people seeking guidance in treating the many causes of snoring. Dr. Volpi published ‘Risk Factors for Intubation’ in 1987 and ‘Geriatric Disorders in Otolaryngology, in Essentials of Otolaryngology’ in 1988.
Dr. Volpi attended Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his post graduate training in General Surgery at The Hospital of The Medical College of …Pennsylvania, and a residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Medical College Affiliated Hospitals and the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Volpi is currently affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital, part of North Shore LIJ and The Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH).
Dr. Volpi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American College of Surgeons, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the New York County Medical Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society.
