I find people fascinating. I remember a wise professor of literature once telling me, “Listen to people when they are something important. They speak beautifully.” I’ve never forgot that remark, and it informs my work as a psychiatrist on a daily basis. We’re all so different and hence, each patient that I work with has my 100% commitment to find a unique treatment option that’s designed not merely to meet their needs, but to help them realize the fullest expression of the life they want to live. I believe that psychiatric treatment is a mutually respectful collaboration, where I commit not only to offer the patient my expertise — but to listen very carefully to their unique voice and to understand what they most want to achieve. I have trained in both general psychiatry, addiction medicine, psychoanalysis, pragmatic life coaching, and continue to update my skills because my profession is endlessly growing and changing. I believe that life and work are a function of …passion, and my passion is to bring compassionate care and excellence to each person who walks into my office. I consider it the ultimate privilege to be invited to consult in on helping people take their lives to the next level.
