Dr. Dee Majko, PsyD

Dr. Dee Majko is the founder and Clinical Director of Iris Therapy Services. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience evaluating and treating children, teens, adults, and couples. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dee is an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she teaches graduate students in psychology. Dr. Dee enjoys and is passionate about teaching, mentoring, training and supervising doctoral students and other professionals in the field. Originally from Albania, she is fluent in English and Albanian, and is responsive and sensitive to cultural issues and differences.Dr. Dee has worked in numerous clinical settings including private practice, outpatient community health centers, and residential treatment facilities. She has received post-graduate advanced clinical training at the Washington School of Psychiatry and completed the two-year Clinical Program. She completed a Fellowship at the Institute of …Contemporary Psychotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Dee completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Consultation Program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Her clinical work has focused on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and relationship distress. She has extensive experience with psychological testing and immigration evaluations. Dr. Dee is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
