Dr. Dennis Demosthene Kokenes, MD

Dr. Kokenes has taken an active role in Charlotte’s medical community. He previously served as board member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region and was the founding board member and former treasurer of the North Carolina Society for Gastroenterology (NCSG). He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), the Mecklenburg County Medical Society (MCMS), the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS), and the (NCSG). Dr. Kokenes and his wife have two daughters. He attends the St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, where he sings in the choir. In his spare time, Dr. Kokenes enjoys traveling, reading, and exercising.
