Dr. Derek Yuan is a Board Certified Neurologist with expertise in Interventional Pain Management and Headache Medicine. Dr. Yuan completed his residency in Neurology at Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in Patient Safety and Quality for two years. Dr. Yuan then became one of a handful of neurologists in the nation to complete a rigorous ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of South Florida.TREATMENTDr. Yuan uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat a wide range of chronic pain conditions including complex headache and facial pain, neuropathy, neck and back pain, musculoskeletal pain, cancer pain, and many other conditions. Dr. Yuan has published several peer-reviewed articles in reputable academic journals and has authored several textbook chapters in the newest edition of The Little Black Book Of Neurology.
