Dr. Dingane Baruti, MD

Dingane Baruti, M.D. earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Martin Army Community Hospital and became board certified in Family Medicine in July 2005. After his residency, Dr. Baruti deployed to Balad, Iraq where he served as a Battalion Surgeon for 1/8 Infantry Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 4th Division. Following his deployment, Dr. Baruti joined the department of Family Medicine at Bayne-Jones Army Community hospital in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Three years later, he returned to Fort Benning, Georgia and became the medical director over four outpatient clinics on Sand Hill. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians as the medical director of Piedmont Immediate Care, Dr. Baruti was in practice at Physicians Immediate Med in Douglasville and Hiram. Dr. Baruti holds two U.S. patents for his work in developing the FlowBrush Asthma Surveillance Tele-medicine (F.A.S.T) system and …is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Urgent Care Association of America and the National Medical Association. Dr. Baruti welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
