I was raised in South Pasadena, California. As a child, I was a Kaiser Permanente member and I got my care at the Los Angeles Medical Center. After medical school in Texas and specialty training at Harvard and the National Institutes of Health, I have returned as a physician with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. I am married and have three children. We have two cats.
