Douglas V. Gorin, DDS
Dr. Gorin received his dental degree from the University Of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1970, where he was inducted into the national dental honor society,
Omicron Kappa Upsilon. His periodontal training was completed at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1972. He was also the recipient of a research grant in the Department of Nutrition at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Gorin has lectured nationally and internationally on the clinical application of esthetic periodontal procedures, bone grafting, and implantology. He was an assistant clinical professor at the University of Illinois Dental School and an attending at Michael Reese Hospital.
He is a past president of the Illinois Society of Periodontology and the Chicago Academy of Dental Research. He is a member in the Chicago Academy of Dental Research, North American Periodontal Study Club, American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of …Periodontology, American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society.
