Dr. Douglas M. Montgomery, MD

I was raised in New Orleans. While I was going to college and medical school in Louisiana, I was also a professional waiter. It was a great way to meet all kinds of people and make money while I was in school. After I graduated from my residency in Ob/Gyn, I decided to stay in training and specialize in high-risk obstetrics. That is when I came to California for the first time. I met my wife while I was completing my training in at the UC Irvine. When I completed my training in 1992, my wife and I moved back to New Orleans, where I worked at a large multi-specialty clinic. I always told my wife we could move back to California if she wanted. In 2005, after my wife and I had two children, we were both ready to come back to California. We are both very happy living here and working here at Riverside Medical Center.
