Dr. Elliott Joseph Spanier, MD

Dr. Spanier is a graduate of Columbia University and the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Albany Medical College in New York. He is Board Certified and specializes in the treatment of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Additionally, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the VCU School of Medicine.
Dr. Spanier has lead support groups for patients and families with eating disorders since 1985. He was elected by his peers to the exclusive list of Best Doctors of America.
