Dr. Enrique T. Quintero, MD

Prior to joining Allergy & Asthma Associates in 1995, Dr. Quintero was in private practice as an allergist/ immunologist. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a fellow of both the
American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Quintero received his medical degree from the University of Monterrey. He completed his residency at the Austin Pediatric Education Program of The Children’s Hospital of Austin. Fellowships followed in adult and pediatric allergy/ immunology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital.
He is a clinical professor of pediatric allergy and immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, in the department of family medicine, where he participates in training residents in the area of allergy, …asthma and immunology. He serves on the board of directors of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System.
Dr. Quintero’s advanced training in pediatric pulmonary medicine gives him an exceptional understanding of the clinical aspects of asthma treatment. He is married and has two sons.
