Dr. Lewis specializes in the prevention and treatment of problems affecting the skin, hair, and nails. In addition to general adult and pediatric dermatology, Dr. Lewis has a special interest in skin cancer surgery.
He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He continued his studies at the University of California in Davis, where he earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and his medical degree. Dr. Lewis completed his internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He served his dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota where he was chief resident during his final year. Dr. Lewis is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Lewis provides services at SCMC in Morris, as well as at our satellite clinic in New London.
Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Sarah live in Spicer and have three daughters, Marena, Janile, …and Kristen. The Lewis family enjoys a wide variety of school related activities and those of the great outdoors.
