He served a General Surgery Internship and Residency at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed a Fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Solid Organ Transplantation, after which he entered Private Practice with Dr. Robert Steckler in Dallas. Dr. Gogel is a Board Certified General Surgeon who specializes in Surgical Oncology with particular expertise in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery.
