Eric Brahin, MD
Dr. Brahin is a newly licensed neurologist in the State of Texas coming from Hahneman Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelors of Science and Engineering (2000) and Masters of Science and Engineering (2001) from the University of Pennsylvania before receiving his Medical Doctorate (2005) from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at Drexel under Dr. Robert Schwartzman.
Dr Brahin intends to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Schwartzman who is known for his groundbreaking use of ketamine infusion therapy to treat regional sympathetic dystrophy/chronic regional pain syndrome. Dr. Brahin and Alamo will be joining forces to open their own infusion suite which will begin operating in January 2011.
Dr. Brahin will be practicing as a general neurologist with a special interest in neurological infusions using ketamine to treat RSD and utilizing different medications to treat patients suffering from MS, …headaches, neuropathies and myopathies.
