Dr. Eric Neil Mendeloff, MD

Dr. Eric Mendeloff is the Founder and Surgical Director of the Congenital Heart Surgery Program at Medical City Children’s Hospital. Born in Milwaukee, WI, Dr. Mendeloff graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1985. He was a general surgery resident at the University of Michigan and a clinical research fellow at the National Institute for Health. Dr. Mendeloff undertook a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at Barnes Hospital and Congenital Heart Surgery Fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mendeloff has achieved outstanding surgical outcomes that are nationally recognized and has completed thousands of surgeries in his eight years here at Medical City Childrens Hospital as Director of Congenital Heart Surgery.
