Dr. Sanders is local to Southwest Louisiana. He graduated from A.M. Barbe in 1982. After high school, he served honorably in the United States Army for 3 years.
Dr. Sanders received a degree in biology from McNeese State University. His dental training was completed at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, and his pediatric training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
He has studied extensively and continuously since dental school. In 1999, he became a board-certified pediatric dentist, and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sanders was one of the first board-certified pediatric dentist in Southwest Louisiana.
Dr. Sanders is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentist, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Calcasieu Parish Dental Society, Academy of Sports Dentistry, and the American Society of Dentistry for Children.
He is married to Sheila and they are blessed with two …adorable daughters, Maya and Megan.
He understands the fears and anxieties that are associated with dentistry. He and his staff are committed to creating positive dental experiences. Most importantly, he is sensitive to the special needs of each individual child.
