Dr. Ozdil is a former Chief of Cardiology at St. David%u2019s South Austin Hospital.
Dr. Ozdil received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and his medical degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. He completed his residency program in Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, and received his fellowship training in Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX.
Dr. Ozdil has been awarded the Highest Evaluation for Internship by the Baylor College of Medicine, the Award for Excellence in Pathology by the East Tennessee State University, and the award for Outstanding Clinical Performance in Internal Medicine by the Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Ozdil specializes in general cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, coronary stenting, peripheral vascular disease, as well as peripheral stenting, permanent pacemaker implantation, and all aspects of noninvasive cardiology, including nuclear …cardiology.
Dr. Ozdil is a former Chief Interventional Fellow and a former instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support at the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Ozdil is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Texas Heart Institute Cardiac Society, the American Association of Nuclear Cardiology, the Travis County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
