Meet Dr. Ervin Braun
Dr. Ervin Braun is a dentist who lives and practices in Fairfield  County. He has over twenty eight years of experience and advanced training in a specialty known as Prosthodontics. A Prosthodontist uses his knowledge and artistic skills to help restore teeth to look as natural as nature intended them to be. Prosthodontics is one of only eight specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. A Prosthodontist’s professional education includes several years of additional training after dental school in an accredited advanced dental education program. Dr. Braun also did a fellowship in Maxillo-facial Prosthetics, with extensive training in surgery, implant cases, and all phases of cosmetic dentistry.
Education
Dr. Braun received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1975. He received his degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry  in 1978 from the University of Pennsylvania as the youngest graduate in …his class ( age 24).  After doing a general practice residency at the prestigious North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York (1979) , he received his specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1981, from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital . As a Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering the following year, he received his certificate in Maxillo-facial Prosthetics.  Dr. Braun continues to take Continuing Education courses to stay current on all the latest innovations of all phases of dentistry.
Affiliations
Dr. Ervin Braun  is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration , the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State  Dental Association, and the Stamford Dental Society . Dr. Braun also has been an attending staff member of the Norwalk Hospital for 20 years.Â
Personal Interests and Family
Dr. Braun has been on the Board of Trustees of a number of non-profit organizations. He is also very active in the basketball world, both at the AAU level, and at the high school varsity level.  His other interests include skiing, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, and tennis.  His family includes his wife Susan, who practices Orthodontics with Dr. Braun, his children Scott, Sam, Adam, Cornelio, and Liza, and granddaughter Lua.
