Dr. James A. Hoke DDS
Dr. James Hoke graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He re received his Prosthodontics training in 1976 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Gifted enough to become Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina he continued to serve as Clinical Assistant Professor even after establishing his own private practice in 1981. He became head of the Dentistry Section of Duke University in 1986. In 1998 Dr. Hoke relocated his practice to their present location.
Dr. James Hoke is affiliated with many professional organizations. These include the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Rotary Club. He spends countless hours with these organizations to continue his education and remain on the forefront on Prosthodontic care. He has done mission work in Honduras on occasion.
When he is not participating in dental …related activities Dr. James Hoke greatly enjoys restoring old cars to their former glory. He is a bee keeper and loves spending time with his family. He has two grown children. His daughter Sarah lives in Atlanta and is an Architect while his son Ethan resides in Philadelphia working as a Horticulturist.
