Dr. Farah Pathan is board certified in Adult and Child Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her psychiatry residency and fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh PA. She has been in clinical practice for 17 years and her areas of expertise include mood disorder, anxiety disorder, ADHD, and Autism spectrum disorder and childhood behavioral disorder.
As a child psychiatrist, she understands the role of caregivers/parents and works cooperatively and effectively to provide optimal treatment. Her wide exposure to multiple work environments including inpatient, outpatient, forensic, consultation and liaison services, and academic background enables her to work effectively with her clients.She is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
