Dr. Ramirez-Seijas is the Director of Pediatric Nephrology at Miami Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. He completed a pediatric residency at the Driscoll Foundation Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Ramirez-Seijas has lectured nationally and internationally and has published numerous articles on renal diseases and treatment. He has also performed extensive research on systemic lupus erythematosus and congenital anomalies of the urinary tract. Dr. Ramirez-Seijas is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology and is bi-lingual, speaking Spanish and English.
