Gahensha Pinckombe is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in treating mental disorders in children, adolescents, and their families. Through his years of clinical work with these populations, he has mainly worked alongside those living with depression, anxiety, or trauma. Gahensha completed both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Regis College. As a first generation, queer, Black person, he understands the obstacles and intricacies to seeking out support for one’s mental health. He shows great concern for the mental well-being of his clients and is driven to help them feel empowered to overcome their obstacles, such as mood disorders, gender/race identity, sexuality, or trauma. Gahensha seeks a collaborative approach to ensure that everyone who is involved feels comfortable and ready to work. Throughout the healing journey, he pulls from various treatment approaches depending on your needs. The overall goal …is to create a productive space for healing that is affirming of all identities and encourages a relationship where transparency is encouraged. If you are looking to start your journey towards a version of you that is happier and healthier, Gahensha wants to work together to make it happen.
