Dr. George Ciechanowski, MD

Dr. Ciechanowski is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and internal medicine. His clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of pulmonary hypertension, severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, pulmonary infectious diseases, and sleep apnea and the use of biologic therapies for treating pulmonary disease. Dr. Ciechanowski received his MD from Wroclaw Medical University, in Wroclaw, Poland. He did an internal medicine residency, and was chief resident, at Lincoln Hospital, in the Bronx, New York, followed by a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, New York. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. In addition to English, Dr. Ciechanowski is fluent in Polish.
