Dr. Gerald Silverboard, MD

A native of Atlanta, Gerald Silverboard graduated with Honors from Grady High School and attended Tulane University, New Orleans, LA where he received his BA degree as a premed student. Dr. Silverboard then attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Silverboard then completed a mixed Medicine-Pediatric internship at Emory University affiliated hospitals and trained for three years specializing in Pediatrics. He was Chief Resident at Egleston Children%u2019s Hospital.
Dr. Silverboard then served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps where he was Chief of Pediatrics at Martin Army Hospital, Ft. Benning, GA Having completed his military service, Dr. Silverboard returned to Emory University, completing an additional 3 year Residency in Neurology. Dr. Silverboard completed a Neurology/Child Neurology fellowship. Dr. Silverboard is double boarded both by the American Academy of Pediatrics and by the American Board of …Psychiatry and Neurology with special competence in Child Neurology.
