Dr. Gerlinde Tynan, MD

Gerlinde Tynan, MD, is a board-certified surgeon with Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, providing comprehensive cancer care in the Longmont area. Dr. Tynan is an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and one of a few surgeons certified in breast ultrasound. She believes in crafting individualized treatment plans for each patient, based on national guidelines while considering their particular pathology, risk factors and personal wishes. She attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Tynan is part of a team of over 50 physicians at RMCC providing advanced cancer care in communities across the state. She collaborates with specialists in all areas of cancer diagnostics and treatment including medical oncology, radiation therapy, surgery, immunotherapy, genetic testing, clinical trials and supportive care to offer patients a coordinated and comprehensive care plan.
