“Dr. Ginger Isom Batz was born in a small west Texas town, Idalou, where her family had settled over 100 years prior. After completing high school there, she attended a liberal arts college, Southwestern University, in Georgetown, TX, where she majored in biology and completed all of her premed training. She then attended Texas Tech medical school in Lubbock, TX. From Lubbock, Ginger moved to Manhattan, NY to complete her urology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. While there, she did training in all aspects of urology, with rotations at Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Westchester Medical Center for more specialized training. She completed multiple research projects and published papers in peer reviewed journals in areas of female urology, BPH, and prostate cancer.”
