I have been practicing Psychiatry for 30+ years. I have been in all kinds of settings including inpatient, outpatient and step down units. Throughout my career I have been always studying the mysteries of mind in all kinds of different context. I trained in psychoanalytic therapy, mind body medicine, mindfulness based therapy, EMDR,Reiki, yoga just to understand mind and how it works. My experience in varied settings and with all different populations of patients has helped me broaden the scope of the modalities I can offer to my patients.Listening deeply and knowing every person has a story that is so meaningful to them helps me understand them and discuss their treatment in a way that helps me meet them where they are. I am a passionate scholar of the mind and I bring that passion and empathy to my work everyday. It is an honor to journey with my patients as they get better and pursue a life that they want.
