Dr. Dowback is one of South Florida’s best Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at New Life Cosmetic. His passions extend past plastic surgery and includes impressive achievements like; former marathon runner, completed 38 marathons worldwide including 1992 Olympic qualifying marathon in Houston Texas, but also holds over 15 publications, author of 3 books, over 30 scientific presentations throughout the world.
An advocate for the transgender community helped establish the first homeless shelter for transgender youth in San Francisco and on the basis of his experience he is currently writing a book entitled “Transgender Surgery, From Christine Jorgenson to the Present.”
