After completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology, he pursued advanced endoscopy fellowship training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York under the mentorship of Frank Gress, MD, a well-known pioneer of endoscopic ultrasound and other therapeutic procedures.
