Dr. Hamid Mumtaz, MD

Hamid Mumtaz, MD is a board certified surgeon through the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. With over a decade of experience in private practice, he provides a full spectrum of thoracic, vascular and general surgical care. He recently completed special training in thoracic oncology with an emphasis on robotic at the Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Mumtaz continuously expands his knowledge and surgical skills and stays current with advances in health care to provide the best possible outcome to his patients. He is recognized amongst his peers for the compassionate, expedient and well-informed care he provides.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, swimming and playing tennis.
