Dr. Helmut J. Jungschaffer, MD

Dr. Helmut Jungschaffer is a board-certified Pediatrician and trained as a pediatric rheumatologist. Dr. Jungschaffer is a graduate of the University of Freiburg Medical School in Germany and did his residency training at Penn State University. He also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. Dr. Jungschaffer has been practicing in Oberlin since 1997. He is the current Chief of Pediatrics for Community Health Partners in Lorain, Ohio and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Jungschaffer specializes in providing well care including immunizations, management of chronic illness and care of acutely ill children. Dr. Jungschaffer is dedicated to providing personalized care for your child from birth through age 21 and is accepting new patients.
