Dr. El-Jassous received his medical degree from the Lebanese University-Faculty of Medical School in Beirut, Lebanon. He then completed his residency and fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY, where he received a hospital-wide award recognizing his outstanding performance as a resident.
Dr. El-Jassous has a strong interest in clinical trial research and has presented his findings at the American Society for Clinical Oncology and the European Association of Neuro-Oncology/World Federation of Neuro-Oncology. His work has also been published in such prestigious journals as the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
