Dr. Sahiwal founded ACAD in 2002 with the mission of providing the optimum dental experience for her patients.
Her commitment is to provide state of the art treatment in a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a nurturing staff.
“I want patients to feel safe and comfortable in a pampered environment, while having their dental needs met.”
This has been her ambition since the age of ten when she witnessed her mother’s relief and satisfaction resulting from proper Prosthodontic care.
Dr. Sahiwal received her DMD at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There she won the Warner-Lambert scholarship for excellence in preventative dentistry. During her education at Penn, she undertook field research in the Fiji Islands.
She proceeded to earn her Masters in Prosthodontics at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. As a first year graduate student, Dr. Sahiwal was awarded a scholarship from the American College of Prosthodontics Education …Foundation. This prestigious scholarship is based on academics and potential future contributions to Prosthodontics.
Dr. Sahiwal began practicing Prosthodontics in the Bay Area, where she also became Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF Dental School/ Graduate Prosthodontics program.
Dr. Sahiwal and her husband have a daughter and son. They enjoy gourmet cooking, traveling, reading, hiking, theatre and the arts.
