Dr. Iris Guo, DAOM, FABORM

My name is Xinyue Iris Guo, and I am an acupuncturist at UF Health Integrative Medicine. After earning my bachelors in biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 2012, I went on to earn a masters in biomedical health sciences from the University of South Florida in 2016. I then attended the Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine, where I received my masters in traditional Chinese medicine in 2021. I recently graduated from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine with my doctorate in traditional Chinese medicine in March 2024.I pursued acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine because I believe in the holistic approach toward health, addressing not just physical symptoms but also mental and emotional aspects. Acupuncture helps bring awareness of our mind and facilitates the self-healing abilities of the body. My focus is on helping patients meet their health goals through bringing balance within the body, optimizing physical function and improving mental well-being. …Patient-centered care is essential to me, and I greatly appreciate patient feedback and active collaboration.As a FABORM (Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine), I also specialize in helping couples with fertility concerns for both men and women, whether they want to increase chances of conceiving naturally or need support using assisted reproductive technology, such as IVF, IUI and egg preservation.In my free time, I enjoy growing plants of all kinds and travelling.
