Dr. Tomek received his medical degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at McGill University, Montreal, PQ, Canada. His fellowship took place at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell University, New York, NY, with emphasis on adult reconstruction (joint replacement). That training culminated in board certification in orthopaedic surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
